Turkish Document Apostille for the United Kingdom

The United Kingdom is a Hague Apostille Convention member. For most Turkish documents destined for use there, a single apostille is sufficient — no embassy or consulate step is required.

The process

1. Sworn translation (if the document isn’t already in English)
2. Notarization of the translator’s signature
3. Apostille, issued by the provincial administration (kaymakamlık/valilik) for most document types, or by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for certain categories such as university diplomas and some official-body documents
