UAE Embassy Document Attestation Service — Ankara

The UAE does not accept Turkish apostilles. We run the Turkish chain (translation, notary, provincial attestation, MFA — and YÖK for university diplomas) and file the UAE attestation for you. UAE MOFA issues the stamp. Authorised service providers are the technical channel, not a self-service button.

⚠️ Why an apostille is not enough for the UAE

Turkey is a member of the Hague Apostille Convention; the UAE is not. A Turkish apostille is not recognised. The file needs the non-Hague chain, then a UAE attestation filing that we manage.

Official UAE source (not a CTA)

Attestation rules: mofa.gov.ae — attestation. Verification of an issued certificate: verify.mofa.gov.ae. We choose comprehensive (MOFA + mission) or narrow (MOFA only) scope from the receiving institution’s requirement — it is not an automatic merge.

Three roles: we run Turkey plus the UAE filing; authorised providers are the technical channel; UAE MOFA issues the attestation.

The full process — step by step

1

Sworn translation

Your Turkish document is translated into Arabic (or English, if required) by a court-appointed sworn translator. This translation has full legal standing.

2

Notarisation

The translator's signature is notarised by a Turkish notary public. This confirms the identity and authority of the translator.

3

Provincial attestation

Kaymakamlık or valilik attests the file (not apostille). University diplomas then go to YÖK in Ankara before Turkish MFA.

4

Turkish MFA approval

Submitted in Ankara. Timing depends on appointments; we do not freeze a 1–2 day promise.

5

UAE attestation filing

We file through authorised service providers. UAE MOFA issues the attestation. Comprehensive vs MOFA-only is chosen at application.

6

Delivery

The fully attested document is returned to you — collected from our office or couriered to your address.

Timing

Translation and notary are often same-day in our building. Provincial attestation, YÖK (if needed), Turkish MFA, and the UAE filing depend on appointments and the authorised channel. We do not publish a combined 6–10 day promise.

Which documents can be attested?

The chain below is the country-level service path for Turkish documents used in the UAE. Exact steps vary by document type — a power of attorney does not use the diploma-only YÖK stage.

Company registration and articles of association
Birth and marriage certificates
Criminal record certificate
Health and medical reports
Court decisions
Property title deeds
Commercial invoices and certificates of origin
Employment contracts
