Non-Hague Destinations for Turkish Documents
If the destination is not a party to the Hague Apostille Convention for the document you hold, a Turkish apostille is the wrong final stamp. The file needs Ministry of Foreign Affairs approval and then the destination embassy or consulate in Ankara.
Read apostille vs legalization first. This page is the destination-side list — only with links that already exist on this site.
Recorded document-specific chains (non-Hague)
These pages are POA-only or diploma-only. They are not a 6–10 day country service table.
- Power of attorney — Kuwait
- Power of attorney — United Arab Emirates
- Power of attorney — Vietnam (consular chain through 11 September 2026)
- Diploma — United Arab Emirates
Country service pages (all document types)
Existing English embassy pages remain the country landing. They must not be redirected to a cluster.
- UAE embassy document attestation
- Kuwait embassy document attestation
- Qatar embassy document attestation
- Egypt embassy document attestation
- Iraq embassy document attestation
- Jordan embassy document attestation
- Iran embassy document attestation
- Pakistan embassy document attestation
- Thailand embassy document attestation
- Azerbaijan embassy document attestation
Saudi Arabia is a Hague party (in force 7 December 2022). Its English page is Saudi Arabia apostille and attestation; the POA cluster records the extra MFA request some institutions still make.
Convention dates that already have a recorded hedge
- Vietnam — Hague membership enters into force 11 September 2026. Do not leave the consular POA text live after that date.
- Thailand — the Turkish sister page records entry into force on 28 February 2027. There is no Thai document cluster on this English desk yet.
What is deliberately absent
Egypt, Iraq, Qatar, Sudan, Jordan, Libya, and KKTC document clusters are not published here. Embassy pages may exist; YAML confidence: confirmed does not. We will not fill those cells with a template plus a country name.
The Turkish sister page is Apostilsiz ülkeler — konsolosluk listesi.
Frequently asked questions
Is this the same as the Turkish apostilsiz ülkeler list?
It covers the same split — Hague apostille versus consular legalization for Turkish documents — and therefore carries hreflang to that Turkish page. This English page does not republish every country name from the Turkish list as a fake cluster.
Why are Egypt, Iraq, and Qatar missing as document clusters?
Those destinations do not yet have a confirmed document-specific YAML case. Country embassy pages may still exist. We do not publish a power-of-attorney or diploma cluster until the chain is confirmed.
What happens when a country joins the Hague Convention?
From the in-force date, covered public documents switch from embassy legalization to apostille. Vietnam's recorded POA chain applies through 11 September 2026; after that the page must be rewritten. Check the HCCH status, not a blog date.
Need this chain handled from Ankara?
Law firms and relocation teams use our Document Operations desk to run notarization, provincial attestation, MFA approval, and embassy legalization without a physical presence in Turkey.
